What is the cost of therapy?
Often clients are more interested in the benefits of therapy and what results they can expect from our sessions. Because our sessions are structured with you in mind, my therapy rates are designed to reflect the value my clients find in our sessions. Currently, my session rates are as follows:
What is an initial session and how long is it?
An initial session is about 90 minutes long and I charge $120 for individuals and $150 for couples/families. Each subsequent session will be charged at the agreed upon hourly rate.
Are sessions in-person or telehealth?
I currently offer both in-person and telehealth sessions (via a HIPAA-secured video platform). I know that for some, prioritizing their physical health during this global pandemic is a literal life or death situation; thus, all in-person therapy sessions are provided with your health in mind (via social distancing, requirement of all clients to wear masks in the lobby and in session, and sanitization of the therapy space after each session). I want to prioritize your physical health alongside your mental health.
What if I can't afford the cost of therapy?
That's alright! I offer a sliding-scale fee and encourage potential clients to reach out to me if they are unable to afford my full-fee. I recognize that for some, being able to afford therapy comes at the cost of being able to pay rent or the light bill, so in keeping with my values, I am able to offer a limited number of scholarships and sliding scale fee sessions.
